About the Purl

 

The Purple Purl is a place to enjoy yarn, refreshments, and good company.

We carry a large assortment and variety, and some exclusive lines. We have exotic spun fibre, yarn of all colours with lots of Canadian content, and oodles of non-wool fibres, so all your knit and crochet needs will be met, and then some.

There are notions, buttons, and closures of all types made from amazing materials (tagua, for example). There are needles and hooks, stitch markers, counters, books, and patterns. You will definitely find something for your next project here.

There are classes and workshops, knitting-related events, product launches and trunk shows. Visit us and see what amazing things are going on today!

Tuesday is our stitch-in night, so join us for the cozy atmosphere and the company of plenty of friendly and knowledgeable stitchers.
