Body Building for Knitters!

Sunday, September 18; 1:00-4:00pm

In this class we'll make our own duct-tape dress forms!

Every knitter deserves a dress form, to help them visualize their body shape and measure their sweaters and knitted garments! It is a great tool for having your creations fit exactly right and it is so much easier to try the garments on the form to get a good look at how things are progressing! Join us for this "body building" class and you'll go home with your very own duct-tape dress form - it's a much cheaper option for a "judy" and they are a whole lot of fun to make!

We will be working in partners to construct the forms, as this is a very "hands on" activity.

NOTES:
You will need to bring

a t-shirt (fitted if possible) that may be discarded... it will be cut off of you. Please come wearing 'separates' (i.e. no dresses or one-piece outfits) and ideally clothes that fit snug to your body ... something you will be comfortable wearing when the form is cut off you.
a Sharpie/magic marker
sharp (large) scissors... little knitting kit scissors just won't do!

Cost - $45.00*** Duct tape will be provided
